The MSDA, Mauritian Scuba Diving Association, is a National Association operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

In 1989, the MSDA is recognized by the "Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques" (CMAS) as a National Association and becomes the 107th member of this Confederation.
