This canyoning circuit gives you the opportunity to discover waterfalls and crystal clear ponds of Rivière Papayes. While being accessible to most people, this track constitutes an authentic route of canyoning with abseils of 5 to 20 metres.

After an initiation which will allow you to be fully part of this adventure, you will move towards a superb natural site in the heart of Casela domain.

A first abseil allows you to join the river in the gorges. You will afterwards abseil through a succession of 4 waterfalls, and then go for a walk in the river, swim and jump in the ponds (optional).

You will reach the vehicle after a short ascent punctuated with beautiful views.

Our team, consisting of monitors and qualified instructors, will make sure that your activity takes place in the best possible conditions. The activity gives you free access to the park on the day of the activity.

Canyoning

Full Day

During this whole day canyoning circuit, you will discover the "3 canyons of Rempart": Rivière Papayes, Rempart river and Trou Pigeon. While being accessible to most people, this track constitutes an authentic canyoning course with abseils of 5 to 20m.

The morning will be dedicated to the descent of Rivière Papayes, along which you will abseil on 6 waterfalls, walk in the river, swim and jump in the different ponds (optional).

You will then have lunch in a stunning site on border of a pond and relax with the possibility to swim and try the water zip lines.

The next part of the day will start with a Via ferrata followed by a hanging bridge which will lead you to the canyon of Rivière Rempart; from there you will discover further abseils.

On the last part, easily achieved, with an exceptional point of view on the Rempart mountain, you will reach by swimming one of the most spectacular geological curiosities of Mauritius: the " Trou Pigeon ". Finally, through a beautiful hike in the heart of the savanna, you will reach the "Coline" view point, then Casela Park.
