The "table d'hôte" at the Domaine de l’Etoile is available to those taking part in excursions, although it is possible to book tables in advance, (2 to 80 persons for lunch, 8 to 80 for diners)
The place can also be booked for cocktails and functions (10 to 150 persons.)
The tables are set under the veranda of the main reception building; a thatch-roofed bungalow with stonewalls facing the "Grande Rivière Sud-Est" and the mountains with on foreground a magnificent English lawn.

The menu is fixed and is reviewed regularly. The cuisine is traditional, emphasising on the mix of cultures present in Mauritius.
Another peculiarity is the usage of products from the
domain, including the delicious palm-heart and different spices; freshness and authenticity guaranteed.
Receptions can also be organised at the "Falaises Rouges" bungalow situated on the other side of the domain, overlooking the bay of Mahebourg.
