The Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course is one of these wonderful and unique courses of the world and once ranked No. 10 in the top 100 Golf Courses in the World by Golf World magazine.
It is situated on the Ile aux Cerfs islet, just 1 km off the shore of Trou d’Eau Douce, on the East coast of Mauritius. Transfers by speedboat are available every 20 minuites (10 minutes transfer time.)
This
18 hole Par 72 of 6,476-metre course was designed by Bernhard Langer and has its own David Leadbetter Golf Academy. The island is just perfect for golf. It has a coastline of little bays, inlets and promontories – natural undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a profusion of tropical trees and plants. All 18 holes have views of the ocean.
The course is open from 6:30am to sunset daily and greens fees are at 156.60 Euros / person, 18 holes: (including boat shuttle.)
Dress code:
Polo shirt, bermuda short, socks & soft spikes (golf shoes). No jeans, t-shirt, tennis shoes are allowed.
Complete gear and equipment is available for hire on the spot.
