This is a discipline newly developed in Mauritius. Several zip-lines and climbing installations had been installed on the most beautiful mountains and peaks of Mauritius. These hiking excursions were carried out with qualified guides.

This activity has now been suspended on most public mountains but is still being proposed at Casela Yemen on the West coast of Mauritius. These hiking excursions were carried out with qualified guides.

Excursions involving sliding along Zip lines occur in 2 places. It is part of Casela’s hiking / climbing excursions and consists of the most attractive activity proposed by the "Tyroliennes de Chamouny" at St Felix in the South of Mauritius
