Ile d'Ambre

One of the last wild sanctuaries of the country - with Ile d’Ambre and its dense mangroves is a peaceful paradise; the hike will take you along the forests of the island crossing past the ruins and conservation areas. You will be able to see the volcanic crater and fresh water cave and learn about its history.

Hiking with Yemaya Adventures, Mauritius

Hiking: Up "Le Pouce Mountain"

After an accession of approx. 1 hr you will summit Le Pouce mountain.(811mts) You will have a 360 degree view and can look down onto the capital. Either hike down to Port Louis or return back to Moka.

Duration half day : Meeting at Eureka parking at 9 am and finishing around 12 pm

Groups: 2 to 8 persons
Minimum age requirement: 10 yrs
Meeting point: Eureka Museum, Moka.

The longer version starts in Moka and ends in Port Louis
