KAYAK COURSES


Kayak courses under the supervision of a BCU coach.

Ratio - 1 instructor to 8 participants.



Star 1:

-Presentation of sea kayak
-Proper posture while kayaking (Contact points)
-Edging and leaning
-Foward paddling
-Turning techniques without using a rudder
(Sweeps, Bow rudder, Cross bow rudder, Stern rudder)


Duration - 2 hours
Cost: Rs 1,500 per session



Star 2:

-Getting in and out of a capsized kayak
-Assisting someone to empty their kayak and stabilize the kayak
-Using a paddle float
-Backward Paddling
-Lateral draw Strodes
-Towing (Tow lines and contact tows)


Duration - 2 to 3 hours
Cost:  Rs 2000 per session



Star 3:

-Putting it all into use in windy and rougher conditions
-Rock hopping and caves
-Surfing
-Safety drills (Quick rescues, Unconsious paddler etc)
-Eskimo rolling


Duration - 3 to 4 hours
Cost: Rs 2,500 per session

2 kayak sit inside North Shore Atlantics 17 ft

1 kayak sit inside Valley Nordkapp 17 ft
