The tour starts with the magnificent alley of "intendance" trees, which leads to the main entrance: a characteristic hall of the colonial houses with its double opening connecting the courtyard and the garden.
On the ground floor, the visitor first discovers the large dining room and its panoramic wallpaper scenery painted by hand.
Adjacent to the dining room, one can discover the usual kitchen's room and the universe of the housekeeper, starched tablecloths, pots of jam and recipes...
From the veranda at the back, you go back to the lobby to visit the eastern part of ground floor, where is the living room.
Before accessing to the first floor by the stairs, the visitor comes along the office owner, than the staircase leads to the master bedroom, decorated in a Victorian style. The veranda above, from where you can admire the gardens and the site of the old sugar factory, leads to different showrooms offering a thematic course on the historical development of the island before 1850, with modern audiovisual techniques.
